History

Deeside Defenders have been running our Gauntlet Gaming Event since 2004.

Here you will find a brief summary of some of the previous shows:

Gauntlet 2009 Show

The show was once more well attending with over 60 tournament players in three competitions with numerous club members, guests and public visitors across both days. The club raffle was generously supported, and items were donated to it, by The Baggage Train, Great Escape Games, Westwind Miniatures, Figures in Comfort, E-collectable Games as well as by our club and members.

Gauntlet 2008 Show

Despite a later than intended event organization and date announcement which resulted in a smaller turn out than in 2007, the tournaments were well run and well attended and many players reporting they had a great time. Several club members ran impromptu games for fellow club members as well as their children.

Gauntlet 2007 Show

The 2007 show was very well attended due to the cancellation of other shows across the country. The WRG 6th Ed Competition was again very popular. The BHGS moved their "Roll Call" tournaments to Gauntlet and boosted the attending numbers greatly.
